What is the difference between Premier Point + & Premier Point locations?

Access Points refers to our nationwide network of client draw centers. There are two types of Access Points, Premier Points+ and Premier Points.

These are defined as follows:

  • Premier Points+: The draw center is fully equipped with supplies, and the client can schedule an appointment immediately.
  • Premier Points: The draw center does not have supplies on hand, and a lab kit shipment to the client is required prior to scheduling.

Where are Premier Point+ and Premier Point locations available?

Premier Points: Available in all states except New York.

Premier Points+: Available in all states except for the following:

  • AK (Alaska)
  • DE (Delaware)
  • HI (Hawaii)
  • IA (Iowa)
  • MI (Michigan)
  • MT (Montana)
  • NJ (New Jersey)
  • NY (New York)

If a kit is required, how will I receive my kit?

The lab kit will be shipped to the address indicated in the lab order.

How long will it take to receive my kit, if required?

Standard ground shipping is applied by default and can take 1-5 business days.

If a kit is required to be shipped to me, can I request that to be expedited?

No, we cannot expedite your shipping at this time. Ground shipping is the default method.

Is there a check-in process when I arrive at an Access Point?

Please be sure to arrive at your scheduled appointment time and location with your ID and requisition form. 

What if I do not have my requisition form when I arrive for my scheduled appointment?

A physical requisition form is needed at the time of the draw. Genesis Lifestyle Labs is responsible for emailing the requisition form to you, NOT the lab. Please ensure you bring the PDF with you. As a fail-safe, you can email the requisition to the Access Point at the time of your draw if you have misplaced your physical form. The Access Point can then print the requisition and accompany it with the sample.

How far will I need to travel to an Access Point?

The radius is within 30 miles of the zip code provided at the time of order placement; you can extend manually up to 90 miles.

How much does the kit cost?

If a kit is required, there is a $15 kitting and shipping fee.

Does my provider have to send the requisition form to me or is it sent automatically?

Genesis Lifestyle Labs is responsible for providing the requisition form to the client via email or in a printed form.

How will I get my results?

You will receive automatic email notifications once the results are complete with your lab PDF.

Will I be reminded of my scheduled appointment?

You will receive an initial confirmation email after scheduling as well as a reminder at least 6 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Upon scheduling your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email with date, time, location information, and a cancellation link. You can refer to this link at anytime before the appointment to cancel. Upon cancellation, they will receive a second email with a link to reschedule their appointment.

Is there an appointment cancellation fee?

There is no fee for appointment cancellation or rescheduling.

What happens if I don’t show up for my appointment?

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, it will be cancelled. Once cancelled, you can reschedule using the QR code on your requisition form.

Is there a replacement kit fee?

Yes, there is a fee of $15.

What if there is no Access Point within a reasonable distance of me?

If I am unable to print the requisition, how do I scan the QR Code to schedule my appointment?

You can open the requisition on another device such as a laptop or desktop and scan the QR code on your screen.
