Thyroxine (FT4) and Tri-iodothyronine (FT3) are two major thyroid hormones that control metabolism, sex drive, sleep patterns and more.

Significant deviations from the normal range may require further evaluation by your primary care physician.

This test measures the amount of the Total Thyroxine (FT4) and Total Tri-iodothyronine (FT3) in your blood.

How it Works

  1. Place Lab Order: Purchase the lab order here online.
  2. Send Requisition Form: Once all order information is completed and ordered, you will receive an email from Fullscript within 48-72 hours. If you order on Friday, please be patient as your lab order form will come Monday. Please be sure to check spam.
  3. Email: Once you receive your email order. Log in to create your account and schedule your lab with Quest Diagnostics. NOTE: We ONLY contract with Quest Diagnostics. If you tried to go to LabCorp or another lab, they will not accept your order. By purchasing this lab, you understand that there are no refunds.
  4. Blood Draw Scheduled: Choose a convenient Quest Diagnostics draw center and book your appointment.
  5. Blood Draw: Go to your scheduled blood draw. 
  6. Your Blood Sample will be processed and results will come within 7 to 10 days.
    *In some locations, there may not be a Quest Diagnostics center available. If that’s the case, let us know and we will either refund you or look for an alternative route if available.
